SVC·00 · Services Index

Small-business web design, built for search, AI, and local.

TESHLŌKI builds small-business websites in hand-written code, optimized before the first visitor ever arrives: for search engines, for the AI that understands and quotes you, and, when you serve an area, for local results. One operator in East Texas does the whole job himself, for clients anywhere. Here is exactly what that includes.

SVC·01 · Website Builds

A complete site, built clean and by hand.

Semantic HTML5, design tokens, mobile-first CSS, and vanilla JavaScript, which means nothing stands between your customer and your content but markup that loads fast and reads clearly. No WordPress, no page builders, no plugin stack to babysit, and no monthly platform tax for the privilege of renting your own pages.

  • Semantic HTML5 structure
  • Hand-written CSS, no framework
  • Vanilla JavaScript, zero dependencies
  • Custom on-brand 404 page
  • Favicon and social share card

SVC·02 · Search Optimization

Ranked for what you actually do.

Every page ships with meta titles and descriptions written to length, one h1 carrying your primary keyword, heading order that never skips a level, canonical tags, and internal links a crawler can actually follow. This is the difference between a site that looks fine and a site that gets found.

  • Meta titles & descriptions to length
  • Logical heading hierarchy
  • Canonical tags on every page
  • XML sitemap & robots.txt
  • Core Web Vitals hygiene

SVC·03 · Local Presence

Findable by the people near you.

If your customers are local, your site has to say so in the places machines read. Your name, address, and phone matched character for character to your Google Business Profile, LocalBusiness schema with real coordinates, your city in the title and h1, and your service area stated in plain English where customers and crawlers both see it.

  • NAP matched to your Google profile
  • LocalBusiness JSON-LD schema
  • City & region in titles and headings
  • Google Maps link or embed
  • Click-to-call phone links

SVC·04 · AI Optimization (GEO + AEO)

Understood by AI, then quoted by it.

Showing up in AI answers takes two passes. First the model has to know who you are: the same facts, stated the same way, everywhere a machine looks, plus an llms.txt file that hands AI crawlers the short version directly. That is GEO, generative-engine optimization. Then your content has to be quotable, which is a writing problem before it is a markup problem: real questions, whole answers, schema confirming what the words already say. That is AEO, answer-engine optimization. The audit tool on our homepage checks both live; this site practices what it sells.

  • One consistent entity across all schema
  • llms.txt for AI crawlers
  • FAQ written as real search queries
  • Self-contained 40–80 word answers
  • FAQPage JSON-LD on every FAQ

SVC·05 · Structured Data, Deploy & Handoff

Validated schema, shipped to your own domain.

Every build carries validated JSON-LD: LocalBusiness, FAQPage, Service, and WebSite blocks stating your hours, location, services, and prices in a language machines can't misread. Then it ships to Vercel with SSL, security headers, and edge caching, on your domain with DNS handled. You get the repository, the deploy, and the keys. Updates after launch are an optional retainer, never a requirement, because you own the asset outright.

  • Schema validated before launch
  • Vercel deploy with SSL & security headers
  • Edge caching & clean URLs
  • DNS configured on your registrar
  • Full repository ownership

What it costs.

Most builds run between $1,000 and $5,000. Page count, content volume, and integrations move the number; the optimization floor never changes, because every site ships with all of it. A focused single-page site for a service business lands near the bottom of that range. A multi-page build with custom photography direction, integrations, and location pages moves toward the top. You get a real quote before anything starts, and the quote is the price. No hourly meters, no surprise line items, and no maintenance contract required to keep what you paid for.

SVC·07 · How It Runs

Six stages, each with an artifact you can see.

Every build follows the same sequence: intake, architecture, build, optimize, deploy, handoff. One short brief starts it, a working draft comes back fast, and each stage after that produces something you can look at rather than a status update you have to take on faith. The full sequence is laid out step by step in the method section on the homepage, and the optimization stage is exactly what the live audit tool checks in your browser.
